Many people told me to check out the cinnamon rolls here. I ordered one yesterday at the counter and ate it, surprised it wasn't warmed up. Came back this morning and thought well I'll get another cinnamon roll but I don't know what all the hype is. So I'm getting my coffee when I spot a microwave! Heated up the cinnamon roll was amazing! I'm not giving 5 stars for two reasons. 1. I feel a staff member should have pointed out there was a microwave and 2. It was way too warm in the bakery! The heat was on like full blast but I'm guessing that's to cater the elderly population that frequents the bakery. Their flavor of the day coffees were great. I really liked the Door County Red Velvet Mocha coffee and the DC Cherry Cream blend. Delicious!

Really just a run-down tourist trap. Dingy. Minuscule selection. Pastries are no better then Pillsbury frozen ones. Stay away.

You HAVE to get either a sticky bun or a pecan roll here. They are phenomenal ... sticky, gooey, moist, yummy!! I'm also a fan of the almond pastry. I give it three stars only because it's kind of smelly and grimy inside. The chairs and tabletops are sticky and it smells old inside. It's dark and dingy .... with the exception of the view of the Bay.

Grandma's Sticky Buns! When I was little, I HATED scrambled eggs. And I particularly hated runny scrambled eggs. Ew, it makes my stomach turn just thinking about them. My parents would force me to eat a portion of said eggs before I could have my sticky bun (pecan roll) at breakfast. I was a stubborn child, but man would I gag down those eggs for a bite of sweet, gooey pecan roll. Seriously, these pecan rolls are as delicious as they are gigantic. They actually have a pretty extensive selection of baked goods here, with a Sweedish/Scandinavian influence. The cookies and pies are all excellent, and are made from old Peterson family recipes (the family that owns the bakery). Luckily almost all of their goods can be shipped to your home, as well. If you go, in addition to the aforementioned items, you MUST try the bialys! My mom and I have searched high and low for years for a recipe that comes close to their bialys and we haven't quite gotten there. Bialys are a sort of bagel/english muffin type breakfast food, but they are lighter and much more delicious! Don't leave here without trying one toasted with a little butter. Also good with their homemade jellies and jams. Mmm, I'm getting hungry just thinking about them.
